Federal Skilled Worker Program is the oldest Canadian Economic Immigration Program. It was established in 1967 to help Canada to attract foreign workers required for the national economy to grow. This program is served by the Express Entry system. The main requirement for this program is to have at least one year of continuous work experience in a skilled job.
